Beef Lo Mein - Simple

This is an easy beef lo mein.  It doesn't taste like the restaurant lo mein but it is very good.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces spaghetti  
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb lean beef, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce (optional)
Directions
Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Meanwhile, heat the sesame oil in a large skillet. Add ginger and garlic and saute 1 minute. Add beef and onions and saute until onions are tender.  Mix cornstarch and cold broth.  Add broth and soy sauce and oyster sauce and bring to a simmer and cook 5 minutes. Drain noodles and add to sauce.
